Serving the San Francisco Bay Area, we offer both drop-off and full-service catering formats for weddings, corporate functions and special events. Our goal is to provide a pleasant catering experience by presenting convenient solutions to enhance events and provide peace of mind. This is achieved through the personal attention dedicated by husband & wife co-owners Chef Ryan Martinez & Event Producer Cleodia Martinez. Both personally work to lead a professional team ensuring that fresh, quality ingredients translate into high caliber dishes to be enjoyed in every seamlessly catered event.

Chef Ryan Martinez

Using fresh, high quality ingredients, Chef/Co-Owner Ryan Martinez personally works his magic into bringing your menu to life.

Chef Ryan’s career began in a small family-owned Hawaiian restaurant in San Diego, California. There, he added original dishes to the specials menu and developed a loyal clientele who enjoyed his simple preparation of comfort food. His move to Los Angeles landed him in the kitchens of Yojie Japanese Shabu-Shabu and Sake Bar, The Hudson, and The Orlando Hotel. Under the wing of his mentor, Chef Greg deMichiel, Ryan also worked at Maison Catering. This experience ingrained in him a demand for high quality ingredients and discerning eye for presentation. Concurrently, Chef Ryan joined the Dolce Group, working on opening a new restaurant called Lemon Basket, and was featured in VH1’s reality show, “Famous Food.” When production wrapped, he carried on leading the kitchen’s operations as Sous Chef, and eventually becoming its acting Executive Chef.

In 2011, Chef Ryan grabbed the scholarship opportunity to study at The French Culinary Institute in Campbell, California. Today, Chef Ryan enjoys taking advantage of Northern California’s bounty of fresh produce and meats in creating dishes for Absolute Celebrations.

Event Producer/Co-Owner Cleodia Martinez

With pride in high quality customer service and a keen eye for detail, Event Producer/Co-Owner Cleodia Martinez personally takes care of your event catering needs from concept to conclusion.

Combining her passion for business and event planning, Cleodia has truly found her happy place in Absolute Celebrations. An inveterate entrepreneur at heart, she started her foray into business at age 10, selling milkshakes at her school’s Home Economics bazaar. From an early age she also enjoyed involving herself in the student council, creating and organizing events for her peers from proms to concerts. Nothing gets her blood pumping more than starting a project and seeing it through to a successful finish.

Today this Saint Mary’s College of California alumna takes immense pleasure in helping clients plan and enjoy some of the happiest days of their lives.
